Read the full website address in the address bar. Official US federal sites use .gov. Other countries use their own government suffixes. Type the address yourself or open it from Waymora’s Official Portal Directory. A lookalike is not official. Waymora still will not call it a named scam.
The full website address, not the logo. Look for inserted words, hyphens, or extra labels such as “official” or “apply” on the wrong suffix. Prefer a bookmark or a link from Waymora’s directory over an ad result.
US federal immigration pages live on .gov websites. Canada’s government pages live on Canada.ca or .gc.ca websites. Other destinations use their own government naming. Always confirm the local rule on the agency’s published page.
Scam Shield compares a pasted URL to the Official Portal Directory for a destination you choose. A match means the website is on the list Waymora checked. A miss means it is not on that list.
“Could not verify” is never presented as “safe.” Safety checks stay free.
Waymora will not choose your visa, fill a government form for you, or invent a fee table. Open the official website to apply. Use Waymora to know which website is listed and what to do next in your Journey.
